07 Dec #ENCW Project Update: December 2017

Dear Christian Radio,

You are changing the world through the #ENCW Project, both at home and abroad. Thank you for your continued efforts to impact one billion lives in five years. Together, we will do the impossible through faith, prayer, and a shared vision of ministry in action.

The name of Jesus is being spread throughout the world by organizations just like yours. Nonetheless, some places are less receptive to the Gospel than others. You may think such a thing only takes place in lands far away, but in reality, it’s a problem much closer to home. This month’s video shares what one station is doing to bring the love of Jesus to the masses in New England.

Even the smallest of gifts can touch the heart’s of a child worldwide. Dana Williams of Operation Christmas Child sits down with DCR’s Derek Withrow to discuss how easy it is to build a shoebox gift online. It has been said that giving knows no season, and when it comes to disadvantaged children, Dana agrees. Learn how your organization can get involved today or any time of year. Operation Christmas Child’s 2017 goal is impact 12 million lives through their shoebox program.

Finally, David Harms of i58:10 Media provides an update on what his organization is doing with radio to provide meals to the homeless. By partnering with rescue missions throughout the U.S., the number of meals provided so far is simply staggering. Greater still, these efforts will continue throughout 2017 and beyond.

To date, 34 millions lives have already been changed through the work of Cure International, World Concern, Samaritan’s Purse, WCQR and other #ENCW Project partners.
